Container Inspection Fee

To all valued accounts,

For all imports into Canada, ANL is presently dedicating resources to ensure

empty equipment is inspected, performing repairs where necessary, and

rebilling the costs for damages (other than normal wear and tear) to the faulty

party. In order to simplify this process and make it more transparent we will

implement a Container Inspection Fee that will be applicable to all Canadian

imports and will cover all equipment damages to a maximum of USD 400 per

container. Damages below this level will no longer be rebilled to importers.

Please find below the details of this Container Inspection Fee:

Effective date: June 15, 2015 (Gate-in Date)

Amount: USD 10 per container (all types, excluding shipper own units)

Scope: All import cargo discharged in Canada, or U.S. port gateway with final destination Canada
