Dear Valued Customer,          
 
In order to comply with the Harmful Waste Act in Nigeria, MOL has decided to revise its acceptance policy for cargo moving to Nigeria:
 
The following goods will not be accepted:
·         Used electronics (even when importer is NESREA certified)
·         Used functional electronics (even when importer is NESREA certified)
·         Used electrical appliances (even when importer is NESREA certified)
·         Used vehicles above 15 years of age from date of manufacture
·         Used refrigerators / air compressors / air conditioners / freezers
·         Used batteries
·         Used non-functional electronics and electrical goods
 
The following good will still be accepted:
·         Used engines/motor parts
·         Used motorcycles
·         Used cars not above 15 years of age from date of manufacture
·         Household appliances (2nd hand/used)
 
 
In case of commodity description like household- and personal goods, MOL will ask for a detailed description of the contents of the container.
